iPod control
I've looked but can't find anything to give me this specific question.
When you have SatNav Pro and you connect your iPod to the auxiliary connection with an ordinary cable (bought out of Maplin) there is no control of tracks from the steering wheel or the iDrive controller. Is this normal, or is it a result of not having the fabulously expensive BMW iPod cable - or is that only applicable to the USB port extrs (6FL?) Thanks and hope that made snese. |

Thats correct.
Connecting the iPod using the AUX socket will only allow you to adjust volume using the buttons on the steering wheel. For the rest of the controls, you need to use the iPod itself. Get a retrofit with the Dension Gateway 500 for full control via Idrive and steering wheel, with all the info displayed on the ProNav screen. THR Doc |

Thanks for the replies gents. It's not for me but a colleague, who, I think, will be going with the Denison unit.
