Anyone interested in these high output Red LED Brake Lights for Pre LCI E92

Hey Guys

I've been trying to find some suitable LED replacements that work for the 2007-2010 E92.

So far I couldn't find anything "error free" out of the box or brighter then stock.

With the help of HPB, we got these made.

I think the pictures speak for themselves and they install within seconds.

I think it's safe to say these are more then bright enough to meet our safety standards.

Before anyone asks, yes they are brighter then stock, in fact nearly 2x brighter and they are much more red.

I'd like to see if there is any interest in offering these lights, keeping in mind coding is required.

I also have reverse lights and rear turn signals that are brighter then stock but require coding.

I'm interested in brighter backup lights as long as they don't flicker on and off when you start the car

I swapped in LCI tails so I just need a much brighter reverse light. Mine are kinda useless.

I have the brightest LED available on the market, the difference helps but you can only get so much out of the stock housing. The housing is simply garbage for distribution of light. There intention is only to warn on-lookers, not to actually portray light for visibility.

I can tell you this, they are brighter then stock but don't expect something like your low beam or fogs in terms of output.

That being said, if you don't want the flickers, which I'm assuming you are referring to bulb checks, you need to have them coded.

There is no way around bulb check flickers with LED unless they are coded.

I didn't make any links yet cause I'm still trying to gauge the interest of high output lights that require coding.

If there is an interest, I'll get them added.

BTW, I can't post links in these sections (Forum Policy), this thread is strictly to gauge interest.

Also I can get some more pictures and video. I'm not sure if it will do justice but it should help.

Also, when I was testing the responsiveness of the stock brake lights VS LED it was night and day.

When I applied the brakes, the stock bulb was almost a half second behind before it illuminated while the LED side was immediate, much safer.

I'm detecting a slight bias in the wording of your poll.

Only slight

BTW I went ahead and added some packages to the site.

PRE LCI E92 Brake Lights, Reverse Lights , Front and Rear Turn Signals.

Front Turn signals are error free plug and play already as well as the side markers but the Rear Turn Signal, Reverse and Brake Lights will require coding.

Up side to the coding is you get rid of the bulb check flickering and you won't have the error on the dash.

Another up side to all of this is since I'm using it on my car, I've already gone through the testing and making sure everything is bright enough, safe and the colors are correct.

For example, in some of my testing the rear turn signals we tried were a little too washed out yellow and a few other brake led we tried were not any brighter then stock if not dimmer.

So everything is done thoroughly. I believe I mentioned previously I plan on getting some pictures and some video. It really makes the car look a lot cleaner.

ICARLY app can only do so much. Many of our coding customers that had the APP still need our services.

Having not been familiar with the APP myself, all I can say based on our customers is that it doesn't do everything and if it does offer it, it sometimes didn't work. You'll have to open up the provisions of the APP and see what it's capable of, keeping mind, it may not be transparent and work.

I have 1 set in stock as a I write this message.

I can't post links here but they are on my site, feel free to throw a link in.

Understandable to a degree. I was against coding for a while but it really opened up a lot of hidden gems that this car offers. Not just in lighting but other aspects. Really cool stuff.

Actually, I did have my euro hazards, and top down while moving coded at one point, which I lost when they were screwing around with my hardtop trying to fix it for a month.

If anyone local pulls the trigger, let me know and I'll meet up with you sometime.

LUX has very bright reverse lights for the LCI tail lights. I tried looking for the link but I cant find it anymore. I have them and they are the brightest I've ever seen.

We offer the HPB E92 LCI reverse lights and they have similar output without the tax.

I have these on order and they are currently being built. Should hopefully have them in my hands in the next couple weeks.

I'll be getting videos this weekend for you guys too. I tried with my phone and it's just too cheesy looking and they are so bright the phone tries to auto focus and then freaks out and dims the image LOL.

So this is a kit like this one?

http://www.topgearsolutions.com/bmw-...e-package.html

I'd love a side marker, turn signal front/rear, brake light, reverse light upgrade package. I'm neutral on the license plate lights, as I don't necessarily want my plate easier to read.

That is a package deal kit. I haven't worked out the pricing or the fitment since it varies from vehicle chassis and year, depending (which is complicating things).

So for now, if you are interested in more then 3 or more exterior lights, get in touch with me direct.

Otherwise the Brake Lights, Rear Turn Signals and Reverse Lights for E92 Pre LCI are available on the site for purchase.
