Potenza RE-11 Pricing Info
Has anybody gotten a heads-up on the pricing of the soon to be released Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 (the replacement for the RE-01R)? I am holding off getting new tires until these are released.
Tirerack...any thoughts?

The RE11 is a Japenese market tire, *not* coming to the USA this year.
We've confirmed this with Bridgetone. Tires http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AH8&...ires/index.jsp

Thanks Gary!
Now the question is...RE-01R or Direzza Z1...

The Direzza is a bit stiffer riding, slightly better dry grip (now we're talking about very slim margins of difference here) while the RE-01R is the more street friendly tire between the two, quieter softer riding. (but still pretty darn stiff and sticky).

Hi Gary,
I'm interested in buying Pirelli tires from you guys. The problem is that the price listed is higher than onlinetires.com even after shipping is added (substantially higher). I would rather buy it from tirerack and drive to South Bend to get it installed since I heard good things from my friend who got it there. Do you price match? Thanks! |

Is anyone running the 19" RE-01R's? They only come in 245 and 275 width's. I have these tires on my Miata and LOVE them, really want to get a set for my E92 when I upgrade the wheels.

The tires I am going to buy are: Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S F:225/40/18 (2) R:255/35/18 (2) onlinetires.com PRICE: F: $129 R: $174 Total: $604 tirerack.com PRICE: F:$142.00 R:$207.00 Total: $698.00 With the price difference, I can use that $$ towards the mounting and balancing by my local tire store. No point for me to drive 1 hr to South Bend to get it from tirerack. At any rate, thanks for the reponse Gary. |
