6HP26 Logging - TC slip

Hey,

i'd like to compare If my tuned ECU has any negative effect on the behaviour of the TC clutch.

I used Testo for taking some logs and saw that the clutch allows for about 100 - 150 rpm difference between engine and turbine rpm when accelerating from low rpms. I wonder if thats a normal behaviour on stock cars, or If my tuner has messed up a little with the torque tables inside the TCU. The max. reported tourque is 540 Nm, while on the dyno the car puts down 580 Nm.

From logging on other ECUs I know that usually the calculated torque is much higher then the "real life" actual torque. Just on my car it looks like it's the opposite.

White = engine rpm
red = turbine rpm
green = engine torque

Regards,
Ray

Yes, some slip is intended as a means to dampen diesel combustion "spikes" and the stress it can put on the drivetrain.

The torque discrepancy, however, does not seem right.

I'm aware of that, but I'm curious about the "right" amount of slip. 50rpm? 100? 150? If I'm off from what the slip is intended to be, I probably got a problem.

Based on the torque, it looks normal to me. I see between 50 and 100 during light acceleration. I haven't seen TCC slip maps, only shift slip and that is a duration target.
