Crap..hit a pothole and bent my VS7 rear rim pretty badly on the inside edge...

Maybe I can get out a lead hammer and bang it back into shape...the pothole just snuck up to me...no idea it was there..or the extent of it...on a road that normally is pretty good quality.

That's a bummer S4. Was this a BIG hit or are you surprised it bent the wheel? How do you like th GS-D3s? I think I'll get those for my VS8s.

Wow, that sucks, sorry to hear that. I hope you can get it fixed. This place http://www.wheeltechniques.com is in your neck of the woods and I've used them a long time ago & they did a great job on my old BBS RX wheel set.

Yeah..I have used Wheel Techniques many times in the years...on some BBS CH wheels..and various other ones. They charge a ton these days..and dont paint match very good from time to time...so I am on the fence.

BTW, the damage is not due to any problem with the Morr Alloy wheels themselves..I have accidently hit a number of potholes..and got no damage what so ever on the other hits. This one, however, was a big friggin hole...couldnt see it because it was dark and raining.

I actually used wheeltechniques for my old set of RX's too and they did a bad job at paint matching. No experience with them fixing bent rims though...

+1 I've had them on my TT and my Elise and they are great tires - they last longer, give up little, if any, dry performance than the stock tires (Michelin Pilot Sports and Yoko Advan Neovas, respectively) that came on those cars, and they are unbelievable in the wet.

I plan on putting probably a year's worth of miles on the stock RFTs and switching wheels and going to the F1 GS-D3s. When my lease is up, the stockers go back on.

BTW, sorry about your wheel, man!
