M-sport rear bumper install

My car was rear ended a few weeks ago and now I'm prepared to get the deez rear end looking purrty again. I've decided to go with the M-sport bumper cover and was wondering if anyone has had experience with the swap and what is required? Any and all tips/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Here's a thread on a swap, not a 335d but its the same minus the DEF hole.

From what it seems like, the rear doesn't require anything if you already have the sport kit (msport/ mtech) since they apparently use the same bumper guides.

Msport has the little insert (called valence) that goes down close to exhaust tips. It is same color regardless of car's color. I have found it convenient to be able remove valence when doing several jobs down there. There are some black bent pieces af steel that bolt to stuff down in valence area and I'm not sure those are exactly same for normal bumper vs msport. I have a pic I will dig up showing this area when I was installing hitch.

Here's the manual on how to take off your bumper if you don't have it already:

See picture of msport without valence attached. 2 black thin bars with mount tabs at bottom. I recall there to be another piece of plastic too but it isn't shown in picture. I will have to go look on realoem for the other plastic mount part. Hopefully, standard bumper car has these same bars. They are welded on.
