Angel eyes LED rings or bulb replacement.

So I'm going to be blacking out my headlights/ turn signals but I'm not sure if I want to just do LUX (or some bulb replacement) or if I should get some LED rings. What do you all suggest? Which is more reliable?

We thought about offering LED rings but the reliability issues were a concern so it never happened.

That being said, it's much easier to change a plug and play replacement but it won't look as good as LED replacements.

Check out the vendor section. HPB and Lux angel eyes are very popular.

I think I'm might bite the bullet and get some LED rings to install because they look so fucking good. I'm also tired of envying the new Audi headlights.

If you're opening the lights anyway, go for the full rings.

Honestly, as somebody who had Orion V4s in a previous car; don't get LED rings. They look great and personally I never had reliability problems, but they cost way too much and they aren't worth it. I'd rather spend a couple grand on the OEM LCI headlight retrofit than the $300+ on aftermarket rings, open them up, have to do a DIY sealing job and risk condensation (it happens, even if you're thorough) Just my 2 cents, though.

Here's a pic of LUX H8 160s in my car. The morning sun is directly behind me shining on to the car yet the rings burn through. Plug & play, though you need a MY 03/2007 + I believe. Good enough for me, and I'm one of the more obsessive people when it comes to Corona Rings..

Edit: Okay I just realized you were already planning on modifying the housing. If that is your plan, maybe LED rings are for you. But hey, at least you have another person's perspective

I'd go with rings since you'd be doing the work yourself. They look badass with a blacked out housing as well.

That is a very cool picture by the way!

DrewWphoto - Our products come with a 1-year warranty just so you know and they are removable at any time in case you have to remove them and put the stock lights back in, or go with something different. Doing a bulb replacement will be the most flexible for you and in case there ever is a problem it is very easily fixable.

I'm going with the oneighty ones. I like the look of them going all the way around instead of clipping the top of the outer one
