Impressive lap time by the GTS. 3+ sec quicker than the Jag.

AMG GTS - 1:27.04
F-Type R (awd) - 1:30.48

Other times at Big Willow by Pobst for comparison.

911 Turbo S (991) - 1:27.17
McLaren 570S - 1:27.22
911 GT3 (991) - 1:27.22

If I had the cash I'd get me one of those AMG's, what an amazing ride.

I've driven both quite a bit but got to experience the AMG GTS at Thermal for the AMG Experience Dec 2014....Street or Track the car is really truly engaging. At the track there was a clear difference with the higher end S model with Carbon Ceramics, it was the way to go. It is a stunningly good drive and while one might not love the looks I cannot see how anyone can find fault with the interior.

Our quick AMG GTS build is here when we picked the first one up in the states.

The F-type trades some pure driver involvement for brute insanity which is honestly just as lovable. Both cars have great stock sound but the F-Type can shoot flames.

Two absolutely fabulous cars. One kicker for me since I'm tall, I fit in the AMG GTS very comfortable, even with a helmet. The F-Type is a bit to tight and intimate for me, its not comfy.

Unbelievable for a Mercedes AMG to be faster than a Turbo S and the much vaunted GT3 at Big Willow. Not only is the AMG GTS heavier than the GT3 but it also has the same power.
