i have always loved the contrast of the black and oyster interior but i am thinking of wrapping my interior trim to get rid of the wood look

any thoughts on what would look best for the interior below? its either gonna be a brushed metal/aluminum/graphite wrap or a cf wrap or black wrap

anyone have pics of the same interior with a wrap?

thanks

I had Piano Black and it showed too much imperfections so I went with CF everywhere but left the Piano Black on the dash since there isn't as much traffic in that area.

You can't go wrong with Brushed though. In fact, anything is better then the wood. I'll upload some pics in a bit.

thx... yeah i was thinking piano black but i don't want it to get all scratched and look bad... i am thinking the brushed look might be best for not scratching as bad???

I have some brushed steel vinyl for sale right now, it'd look great in there!

so check out the chart above... i am focusing mostly on the brushed metal wraps but i would love to hear some more suggestions... i think black brushed metal would look great but i like aluminum and steel too

We both have the same car, and I've been debating the same thing! I'm not a huuuge fan of brushed aluminum in this interior, because it feel it'll be a bit too light/bright.

I'm now leaning towards Carbon Leather with a Matte Brushed Center Console, or a CF-overlayed console. I think the texture and color contrast of the CF leather would blend pretty well with Oyster.

Jeff@TopGearSolutions, it'd be awesome to see some pics of your set-up.

cool

i was also thinking matte black as well for mine cause there is a lot of matte black in the car already but if it didn't match up perfect it might not look the best

i agree 100% on the aluminum will not look good in our car, we gotta stay with a darker color and just have the lighter color of the oyster as the lighter contrast

i am either going metallic black, gloss black or matte black

I know some people don't like metrorestyling but if you go on their website you can order a sample of each one you are interested in for $1 and just stick them each on the dash really quick to get a better idea of what you like. Personally I like the brushed steel. Be different brushed gold! haha

I think the wood looks really nice, certainly better than any vinyl would look, for what it's worth. But if you want to actually swap trim I think aluminum would look good.
