Interesting information that I got today!!!!

Found out that the most recent 335's actually also have a bolted in diff!!!!

We just did an 01/07 build with a bolted in diff.

If you are interested, please PM me your vin and I will find out if you have a welded or bolted diff.

Bastards..if I would have had that..that flippin Quaife would have been in my car by now. I sold mine to Magna3 so I dont have it anymore.

the switch to welded wasn't made until march/april of 07.

February and possibly part of January actually. It was NOT part of the march production changes but before them.

You said it will work on 08 335i, do you mean someone have to replace the crown gear for us or can we simply order a new crown and bolt it on?
