Is there even an exhaust specific map? It is ridiculous I had a procede back in last July of 07, and was waiting on an exhaust map back then.. It was a 2 months old promise back then.. what makes you think they will produce this? (I know he promised a DP map, has RR dps on his car and showed Dyno sheets..)

He did promise a DP map...never heard a promise about an exhaust map?? Contact Shiv directly as the beta-testers can't comment obviously.

When Shiv had his report out it was pretty much done. I'm not a beta tester but common logic tells you it has been done for some time. If the DP map has not come out it is is for some other reason other than function. I don't know this for sure but that would be my guess. Either way the result is the same. Frustration!

Give it about another 3 weeks to a month until it is released to the public... As far as i know it should be in the beta testers hands in a week or so...

To help clarify, many (if not most) things BMW related are occurring at Vishnu. But without getting into future projects, we can concentrate on the current ones.

People want a DP map; obviously based on this thread. But before releasing that shouldn’t some of the matters the majority face be addressed which would benefit even those with DP’s; namely those with overboost/spikes. Obviously no one wants a map that will need to be upgraded immediately. Why not wait to release maps which works for all.

Currently, there is a map in circulation with the beta group which is designed for use with DP’s as well as helping the overboost/spiking matters. After this has undergone the testing required it will be released.

Secondly, there is another development which will provide expanded features, ease of use as well as absolute boost control (think fast ramp rate with a 1 PSI spike). This will be in the near future but will require hardware changes. But in the mean time, the spike issue should hopefully be resolved soon with more information as soon as this weekend.
