Dinan Intake & ER Charge Pipe

Hey guys,

I'm toying with the idea of getting a Dinan CAI for my 2008 335xi. More cold air is supposed to bring another 14 whp and more consistently keep AITs lower.

That said, i'm not sure about the fit with ER charge pipe and Forge diverter valves. Has anyone tried this combo??

You could get a equally or better intake that would do the same job without the Dinan tax

Or you could get inlets that will make significantly more power and still cost less.

Unless you're getting the dinan for free save yourself some money and get another brand. You could get an intake and CP for the price of that.

Go with an aFe intake. Don't shell $1000 for Dinan, though it looks awesome in the bay...

IAT control is heavily weighted towards the FMIC on a boosted platform.

Since you have an ETS FMIC, you should be good.

If you dont currently have an intake, you may want to consider a closed style AFE magnum Intake, it's considerably cheaper then the Dinan and has a similar performance gain.

Fitment will be good

Wether it is open intake (DCI) or closed intake (Dinan, Afe) they all will give you similar gains. If you are going after max performance, get inlets

Best sound, DCI

If you are not a fan of loud intakes, get the AFE

Intake that looks awesome once installed? Dinan

Check the new ECS intake box. Lightweight construction, dual cone design, but about half the price. BuraQ had a good review of it in action on his Z4 and the results were pretty good.
