Disconnecting the battery
Hi,
as unmechanically minded as I am, I managed to fit the fuel-it stage 2 pump myself today. It was very easy. The product is great and the videos and manuals make it very easy to do. Following the manual I disconnected my battery and let the car sit overnight. I was very happy that the fuel pump primed and the car runs well. Everything is normal but I've lost my service interval information for things like when the oil needs changing, the brakes changing etc. My car had lost the date and time. I've reset this. I though that might be confusing the car for the dates etc. Will this info come back or will I need to program it in myself? It's not a big deal. I've had to change service info myself in the past when my brakes were fitted and oil changed. Also is it normal for this info to be lost? Almost everything else is there like Radio stations. I see the part that records mpgs (journey info I think it is) is gone as well. Thanks

about 18hrs.
Going to ask on the more global section of e90post as I've figured I need to confirm the 'pre-delivery check' status. Looks like only a dealer might be able to do it.
