135i n55 oil consumption
So I put a full quart in about 500 miles ago cause oil was between minimum and the OK reading. After filling car said max now after the 500 miles since I put oil in now the car is reading between max and ok so I'm deffinatly using oil but wtf. Where is it going. I just bought the car used. With 39k miles and now I've noticed the thing had a lot of aftermarket stuff besides what I bought it with (jb4 which I had to take off to get it threw emissions cause map 0 wasent allowing any readiness monitors to set, lwfw. 5" intercooler) but they took off the OCC that they had on cause u can see where they did a crap job cutting the plastic cover. And I think it had a charge pipe as well. Anyways so it's a 2011 135i n55 and its using quiet a bit of oil. What should I do? Will OCC help me? I drive at WOT pretty much all the time and shift at around 6k some plz help. I am new to any sort of forums. This is the first forums I've ever actually took the time to join and post things in/comment on

Well these cars are notorious for burning oil, however it sounds like your burning it at a higher rate than usual. The OCC is good to have but wouldn't reduce the amount of oil you burn, just the amount that makes it back into your cylinders and causes carbon buildup.
Couple things possible, VCG leaking, which would be odd considering low mileage, a bad job re assembling the things they took apartment, leaky OFHG, but you would see a significant amount around the oil filter. Where are you located, I can take a look at it, see if you have any codes and/or leaks visible.

Do not add oil in these cars unless your doing oil change or it tells you to add a quart. Otherwise you can overfill it. This is why I like dip sticks you know exactly where the oil is at. Nothing to worry about unless it keeps telling you to add a quart. There's multiple places these cars leak oil. Really need to look around and see where's it's comin from. Like oil filter gaskets or valve cover. Or oil pan itself or from rear main seal.

I am located in west Suffield CT id be willing to drive up hahha but yea I have no idea where it's coming from or where it's disappearing too. It doesent look wet anywhere and there's no oil under the car and I park it in my garage every night. Unless it's collecting in the undercarriage panels

Like montegoo_nyc said the car will burn oil specially if you're riding it hard. If you do have oil leak it would collect on the panels and then when you drive "fly" out. But if you're not getting anything on your garage and the car doesn't say to add a quart I honestly wouldn't worry about it. When you get a chance pop the hood up and look around see if there's any evidence also check your coolant expansion tank (if ofgh gasket is bad you would have some oil in there).
