airbag recall
looks like many of us will now have our cars recalled for this wide sweeping takata airbag issue.

I guess us old dudes who grew up riding around in cars without child car seats and our mothers smoking in the car with the windows rolled up, and when airbags were still on the lab test bench, aren't really that concerned.

I received my letter this week. Basically says your airbag is jacked, but we don't have the parts to fix it, we'll get back to you, please don't die until then.

There are actually a lot of e90's and other brand cars which have had crashes.
Not EVERY crash has had the shrapnel issue so it seems to be a random / limited issue but one which they cannot contain or clearly identify. So basically what I'm trying to say is, if you crash, you could either be lucky, or not.... |

Got mine few weeks ago... now we have to wait till dealership receives parts?? crap! im due for oil change badly. Taking care of both would be ideal...
