Hi guys,
I've been attempting to have Lubrico replace my turbos for a few months now, and found a shop that's willing to help me. Long story short, I'm planning on selling the car however after this turbo replacement I might have some 2nd thoughts. My Lubrico warranty runs out in a month and a half and would like to have them replace the most expensive/common issues with the N54. So far I've replaced the Steering Rack, serpentine belt+tensioner, valve cover gaskets, oil filter housing gaskets, valve cover head, water pump and thermostat. All within the past 13-15km the car currently has 120,000KM. I'm looking into having coils and injectors done however unless all fail I won't be able to have them all done at the same time. What else could I look to replace aside from coils\injectors. Car has been previously tuned and FBO. Thanks for any input guys.

That should be it! if everything else checks out. Injectors seemed to have caused an issue on my car, which took out the DME as well. Not sure what year/version of DME you have but 07 can have issues with the DME transistors.
Other than that if you log, and dont see anything abnormal, you should be fine. Not sure what tune you run on your FBO, but I recommend a pro-tune. Not only you get a customized tune for your car to your liking, you also get someone else to look at the logs and point out if something is off. Sure people can look at logs on the forum, but a tuner since he is charging for a service, is actually more careful going over them. Think of it as an added bonus with the added power. |

My warranty included interior parts as well, so I had them replace all the black plastic from pieces that have that rubber coat that peels replaced. Try to have them do your oil pan gasket, wheel bearings, all vacuum lines too maybe. I made sure to milk my warranty as hard as possible before it expired as well haha

Here's what I would do if I was you.
Try to get them to replace you oil pan gasket. That's the only big leak you have left. If they do, replace your engine mounts (labor overlap so buy them out of pocket, and buy the upgraded 335is mount on the one side). Also, while they are replacing your turbos, I would buy a new water pump and tstat and have them replace that as well. Labor will overlap, so just buy the parts. Also, have them replace the vacuum lines running from wastgate to boost solenoid. You should be all set for a while after this, unless an injector fails lol. Edit: actually, have them replace the engine mounts now because it also labor overlaps with the new turbo labor.
