335is with DCT, issues with Limited Slip Differential LSD or mods?

I'm looking into an N54 car again, and the 335is is my favorite because of the N54+DCT combo.

Does anyone have experience with running an LSD with different final ratio on a 335is DCT? I read that the DCT has some issues calibrating to a different ratio, something about adjusting torque handling according to speed/rpm in any specific gear. Basically the question is will I have an issue with a 3.08 (instead of the stock 2.56) LSD installed in a 335is with DCT?

For 335is owners with DCT, does the DCT slip with basic mods like DPs/FMIC/Tune?

Stick with the factory final drive ratio unless you want to be a guinea pig, and got money to spend for trails and errors. Plenty of LSD that retain the factor final drive ratio

So 3.08 won't work well?
I didn't see plenty of options unless custom ordering... ECS Tuning has complete diffs ready of 3.08 and 3.46, but not 2.56.

Not sure of 3.08 but I know for sure 3.46 won't work at all with factory software. Tranny won't shift right even close enough to drive it a couple miles. I had a friend try and it wasn't pretty. Ended up swapping it back out.

Alright, I still had hope for 3.08 but that's gone now.
How much would a full pumpkin with 2.56 LSD ready to install cost? Helical type Quaife/MFactory.

VAC Motorsports in PA has 2.56 LSD in stock. I was quoted roughly $3200 for complete install if using my open diff as a donor.

I have a 335is dct with the mfactory LSD. I went with the 2.81 gearing that came from a 335d
I haven't had any problems yet! Although that's not nearly as big a difference as goIng to the 3.08

Wow sound great, so there is still hope for a replacement from the stock 2.56. How is the drive & what's the performance gain you had?
