335d Dpf removed but soot level is high?
Hello all I was wondering if anyone can help me...
I had my dpf removed 2 years ago, I was promised the actual dpf would be cut open, the dpf part of it would be removed, and software map would be flashed to say dpf is no longer there so no errors would pop up. I was not there to see them remove the dpf, I left the garage and returned 6 hours later. Recently the car has been acting a little sluggish and hesitant just like it did when the dpf was clogged, I have bmw carly software on my phone and after doing a live parameter monitoring i can see it's showing 29.84 g soot mass??? Checking on the forums this is surely a high figure but my dpf should be removed??? I'm wondering if anyone else has had their dpf removed and have the bmw carly software can they check there soot mass level? here is my current screenshot, my coolant level went to 80c after 5 mins of taking this screenshot.. Many Thanks, Gee |

Maybe the figures are due to the way the DPF has been erased from the ECU?
Different tuners will delete it in different ways. Can you find the outputs of the back pressure sensors and compare those to the DPF values? |
