Aftermarket Mirror Caps?
My girlfriend got me some carbon fiber mirror overlays this past Christmas. They looked great until I went to a car wash last week. I usually never go to auto car washes but the salt was layering up and temps were in the low 20's. Long story short one of the mechanical arms hit my mirror and this happened...
![]() Both the OEM mirror cover and overlay are toast. The car wash company is cutting me a check for about $200 based on an estimate I received. So my question is are there any better alternatives out there for carbon fiber mirror caps that don't cost a fortune? I'd prefer to not get the shell carbon caps again but might have to. Thanks!

I'm just worried about it not sticking correctly and peeling up.

If the mirror caps were just overlays they were not OEM. The OEM covers are insanely expensive and actually replace the entire mirror cover plastic. In terms of options you really don't have any other than going the cover route.
