Hampshire/ South Coast meet

Would there be enough interest on here to organise a South Coast/ Hampshire meet or is there a regular one already?

I'm new to the BMW world having owned VWs most of my life. I have searched for meets on here but can't seem to find any.

Over 50 views and no responses - maybe it won't happen. I'd be up for it. BTW there is a monthly meet of the BMW Car Club each third Tuesday in the month at The Fox pub, North Waltham (near Basingstoke). They meet at 7.30pm and the contact is Simon Alcorn (07973 299024).

Perfect. Cheers Phil. I'd be game for the next meet up in Basingstoke if you fancy driving up together?

We'll try and get something sorted locally as well seeing as the evenings are only going to get longer. I'm not suggesting anything more than a meet in a nice pub for a couple of hours etc when the weather gets better.

I haven't got Facebook so that rules that out. Do they have a regular meet?

Ace. It seems that Hampshire already have a BMW group but not having Facebook doesn't help.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where might be a nice place?

I do go to the Hampshire owners club meets. It's a good group of people and the meets are arrange in different areas all the time. There are two other clubs which link or gather together. I agree with no Facebook you won't know when they are taking place.
Maybe set a login just for this if you are very keen. Hampshires club gets together once a month and normally at the end of the month.
There are a few people from Basingstoke who attend this, I'm coming from Newbury.

Waaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day, a few of us used to meet up at a pub in Headley (near Dorking), as the car park was pretty big and the landlord was ok with it provided no-one was being a dick.

Well this sounds promising anyway lads. I like the idea that someone who does do Facebook can post up the Hampshire BMW meets on here.

I'm game for the Tuesday meet on the 15th March in Basingstoke with the BMW car club.
