CBU service at BMW shop

The two local BMW shops have both quoted me at 3,000 for the carbon buildup cleaning procedure. Based on what Im seeing you guys talk about on the boards thats about 3 times too much.

Can anyone who has had this procedure done at a BMW shop post a picture of your bill so I can take it to my local shop and ask how they are billing it so much differently?

BMW of Rockville quoted me $2,100 if emory serves but I did not get it in writing.

Bumping because Im nearing a deadline to get something done...hopefully someone has a receipt they can share of their CBU bill from a BMW dealership.

Feel free to cover any personally identifying info. Really I just need the itemized billing area.

Call around to some independent shop you will get a much better price..
BMW dealer quoted me 3100 ...parts were 600$ Labor 2500...

I have locally....no one around here has a clue..... Not a lot of 335d in Nebraska...

UPDATE: I just got a quote from Cordel Foreign Auto for 900....Ill deal with that.

I got a quote from Al Hafner Tuning in Tyler, TX for $1350 yesterday. He says 10 hours work so I would have to take it and leave it overnight.

Anyone know of a DFW or Oklahoma shop which does it for less, please advise. Thanks much.

Mine was done under extended warranty, but I asked the dealer what it would have cost to pay for it myself, and they said $1300.

Open Road BMW in Edison NJ did mine under extended warranty. It would have cost me $1,800 out of pocket.
