How good is SSDD?
Hi all,
I was trawling a few forums and came across someone mentioning SSDD motorsport, after having a look on there I found the X6 gear stick for manual!! http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/index...&product_id=84 So two questions really, How good are SSDD? and can I actually just pull out and push back in the new gear stick? Cheers for any advice you have on this, Chris |

Teddy (owner of SSDD) is a great guy, always at some of the major BMW shows with a large stand full of car parts. I've bought many things off him and fitment has been great. In the instance where the item turned out faulty - and it's reasonable, he will take the product back no quibble and the best thing is he is based on West London. He's not the type of person who will run if a problem occurs.
I'd buy with confidence although I always just message him on FB rather than shop via website - I can't get along with his website lollll |

I have used them a few times over the years & never had a problem, Teddy that I believe is the owner has always replied to my email queries immediately with the info I require. They are not always the cheapest for items when you compare with eBay but IMO they are less of a risk with regards to returning/complaining etc should anything be wrong.
As for the gear stick hopefully somebody else will be able to tell you for definate but with any manual gear stick I have removed in the past on different models they just pull off but beware extreme strength may be required, to the degree sometimes that you think your going to break it!! |

Cheers everyone! I'm very new to this scene so I dont know who is good to use and who isnt yet, I honestly hope I can easily swap in the gear stick as I've almost changed cars just to have one that looked like that

I have used them various times no issues at all and if there was I was told as soon as possible. I ordered a carbon rear diffuser once it was made teddy got in touch and told me there was a slight mark in the weave but if I wanted it he would discount it for me. I was sent a couple of pics and it wasn't that bad at all so there were particular in what they do.
