Seatbelt alarm
The only thing I don't like about this car. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of it or extend the timer on it? Obviously I wear my seatbelt most of the time, but if I'm doing something like going around a parking lot or down the block without leaving 2nd gear, it's a bit of a nuisance.

I always wear my seat belt, would be stupid not to. But I still hate that stupid buzzing/binging noise. I really wish I could disable it too.

After like 20 or 30 seconds it should retract and not come back out. Other than the buzzer, drive without your seatbelt till your hearts content.

well i have some bad news...
the seatbelt clicky-thingy is not the same in e60s and e9Xs i went ahead a pulled mine apart and these are the results. the last pic show what seems to be a sensor with a magnetic grove and therefore it is impossible to trick it unless you actually put the clip into it

no, once you put the buckle in, it pushes down a magnet to where the sensor magnet is at.
i think this picture will help

So can you buy the same magnet, and put it so its always giving that connection? Would that shut up that dreaded chime?
