Found out today that my car is aboard the K-LINE vessel Emden which left Bremerhaven on March 2nd bound for Charleston to dock on March 15th. Anybody else have a car on this vessel?

It looks like she's consistently tracking now on sailwx. Hopefully you'll be able to track her all the way to Charleston.

My dealer told me that my car will arrive in South Carolina on the 15th and be delivered to Kansas City,Mo on or about the 21st! To answer your other question,I'm a finance manager at a local dealership and was able to talk to the general manager of my local Bmw dealership and negotiate $500 over invoice plus the doc fee.I had previously bought a 98 M3 from them so that helped a little I guess.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was able to get $2,350 off MSRP is that a good deal? I am turning in a lease so the dealer also said they would waive the $350 disposition fee. So i guess my total discount was $2,700. How did I do? Our new cars should be arriving shortly!

Looks like several 328i coupes on this ship. Mine is an alpine white 328 coupe with sports package and heated seats. Im paying approx $2,000 under msrp. Unfortunatly some woman pulled right out in front of me in my current car today. I was almost able to stop before hitting her in the side of her car. I am going to have to have a new bumper, hood and radiator. This sucks because this is the car I am trading in and had an agreed upon trade in price with the dealership. Now I have to wait until my car gets fixed before I can trade it in on the BMW that is coming probably next Friday or the following week. Obviously this is going to devalue my trade. I am demanding that the other drivers insurance pay for loss of value along with repairs. She was cited for failure to yield. My dealer said they will still take the car with about an $800 reduction in value once it is fixed. Hopefully the body shop can get if fixed by late next week or early the following week in time for my new car. Oh, also at least my airbags did not deploy, I think the impact was too low.

Seems like you did pretty well,I always figure above invoice amount instead of below msrp, but it's all pretty much the same. These cars have been selling like crazy here in the midwest,my dealer didn't even have one for me to drive at all! I'll tell you I'd love to be in Miami where it looks like you're from, has to be great weather down there, perfect for driving.I'll be lucky to pick mine up without there being snow on the ground or it being 20 degrees....

I noticed you live in Tennessee. That's where I grew up.I haven't heard of Tellico though,I'm from Franklin just a little south of Nashville.I was working on my 335i purchase with Ben of Bmw of Nashville when my local dealer here in KC called and said they had allocation.

Tellico is slightly southeast of Knoxville at the base of the mountains. It is a very small mountain town that is just now starting to get a fair amount of tourism. Franklin sure is a growing community.

These cars have been selling like crazy here in Miami also! The first dealership wanted me to pay full "sticker price" MSRP since the demand is so high and supply low. The weather in Miami is great this time of year, but the summer time is brutal! Anyone have an update on when EMDEN will be arriving in Charleston? RYANBOZ7 what does TIAG mean on your 335i coupe? Hopefully, we will all have our new toys by next Friday March 21.

TiAg is the color of the vehicle on the periodic table of elements.Ti for Titanium and Ag for silver.
