Help 328xi Mechatronics Sleeve Gone Wrong

Help! So I've gone through the full Mechatronics sleeve change, and now I can't get the car to start up. As soon as I hit the ignition button the car shows that it's in drive and gives me an error that it cannot shift into park on the display. The sleeve feels well seated and the sleeve lock easily slides into place, I'm wondering if I damaged the pins on the connector. Specifically pins 6 and 15 don't look like there is anything in them. I've attached a photo, should these pins look the same as the rest, or are they supposed to be empty pins on the 328xi?

these are the two cleanest photos I could find of an e90 trans harness on the internet. Looks to me like 6 and 15 should be blanks. Any thoughts?

is the sleeve installed far enough in the trans? it sounds like the sleeve isn't locked in all the way.

The white locking tab on the mechatronics kit can be closed/released pretty easily, so it seems fully engaged. But the gap seems a bit large to me. I don't really have any ideas for getting it further in though.

Take a look on the gap i am sure you didn't fit the sleeve deep enough /wow / and that's why you got errors...it's a bit fancy but you should turn and push gently but firmly...

That's what I'm thinking it is, but I just can't get it in. I think I'm going to toss in the towel and take it to the shop. Maybe they can get better leverage on it with the car up on a lift.
