Feeler? FS stock or sell parts at a time '07 E90 328i TiAg, is it time?
Is it time to move to an E90 M3? I'd love to see this car part ways as a whole but I think I'd get the most bang for my money by trading for stock parts with cash on top, mainly the hood, ventech rear bumper and front bumper but it's wrapped in vinyl as well as the lip and the CF lip can go with it. On a good day, KBB private value $7500-8000 (stock), 1045xx miles. 2015 new front windshield, new starter, new battery. With wear and tear items done and not to be removed/parted, oil change every 5-6000 miles, transmission oil drain/fill, valve tick warranty work done, oil gasket change done, 2014 new radiator, coolant work done 2015 (car doesn't show signs of overheating but that isn't to say be weary of t-stat/water pump to be done), 35% tint all around except front windshield, front fenders rolled, rear fenders shaved, ST coilover suspension with 60k miles with 2 FK bumpstops on each side, StopTech SS lines, 335i front calipers, front/rear calipers sprayed some kind of silver/grey by me, drilled rotors from brakeperformance.com, StopTech pads, APEX 90mm wheel studs. 21-23 MPG, on good highway drives 410 miles on one tank, A/C still cold, hot is hot, radio works, changed '07 underseat subs to '10 subs (made a difference). I've had this car since 2011, 2nd owner from a lease, Northern California car, garaged, never smoked, made love into...twice just kidding, never did. No leaks anywhere. With mods that can be parted let's see... Exterior 1. LCI hood with CF vents, I'd have to get your LCI or Pre-LCI hood $1000 obo 2. M-tech front bumper from JGmods, primed underneath the vinyl, I'd have to get your LCI or Pre-LCI stock/M-tech/M3 bumper (whatever you got) $400 3. LCI lip $80 4. Mode Carbon CF lip $100 5. Ventech rear bumper from JGmods $1000 firm 6. Duke Dynamic quad CF diffuser $500 (I'm aiming for 328i owners for this one). If you're doing the quad conversion, might as well buy my quad exhaust set up, from behind the control arms and to the tips, will be one installed vibrant resonator, the 4 tips are from http://forum.e90fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=1048811 I'd have to get your 328i muffler 7. AFE mid-straight pipes (not installed) $260 8. CF fins for the rear bumper made by Tee (4 bolts are Titanium polished, 4 bolts are Titanium burnt), to go with the home made diffuser wrapped in CF vinyl $250 9. OEM taillights are painted cherry red with upgraded LED bulbs $200 10. meeeeh the wing was removed and the trunk is done, just lazy to remove 3M tape, dented from the wing and 6 drill holes, and I covered it with vinyl. The next car owner should just do LCI trunk conversion or buy another TiAg trunk. Somewhere on the forum, I was offered for like $300 shipped. I don't think I'd have a problem buying that trunk for you if the car is getting sold. 11. E90 LCI halogens done by Boss Cat Designs and Dominic (he's on the forums) fitted with Orion V4 rings and gloss blacked out with brighter bulbs not whiter. $450 12. Another set of E90 LCI halogens with Orion V2 rings and everything is greyed out. (no need to trade headlights with either set, I still have my Pre-LCI halogens) $300 Under the hood 1. Gruppe M replica intake with a USA Green intake filter cone. $300 2. One of those intake hoses that was for sale on the forums for $60, not installed. Interior 1. Kuda mount with a TomTom (I believe) GPS touchscreen $150 2. One of the Pioneer touchscreen radio stations, I think it's an AVH model (not installed) $300 3. M-tech sport wheel (perforated) with M trim (not for DCT) $375 4. Another DCT sport wheel with M trim $100 5. DCT modules with M3 paddles $200 What other stuff am I hiding from my wife...there should be more that I'm forgetting. Staying with me are... 1. 19" Forgestar F14 SDC wheels/Yokohama tires w/ Pre-LCI TPMS 2. 18" Work Brombacher's w/ Pre-LCI TPMS 3. Speed Element CF skirts 4. Delrin/Jaffster shift knob 5. GT4 lip 6. E90 trunk subwoofer housing with Alpine 12" sub and Alpine amp Whole bunch of other small stuff I can still keep and switch over to the next E90 The point of all this is, I'd like it to be all local sales as much as possible, even if the buyer/trader had TiAg is even better. If a buyer came up tomorrow and said I'll take the whole car as is while paying what I have in my mind for the cost of the mods if I parted them out individually, I would say bye bye. So if you know anyone that wants to have a good enough head start to build their car, this could be it. Last edited by Route 16; 03-08-2016 at 02:20 PM.. |

phew.... so to the 20 other PM's in a day's worth of posting, I posted the individual prices of the parts and figured the car as a whole minus the parts I would switch to the next E90, roughly $13000. Damn these cars depreciate a lot.
