Port Injection Meth Plates. Whos interested?

As many of you know, I've designed and ran PI meth for a very long time. I get PM's on all 3 sites asking for help, advice, and even work. Now that a few more people ventured out and have one up and running my inbox's have been going off the chain. About 75% of people asking are wary about drilling the stock manifold and about 50% of them want to ship me theirs for me to do it. I've done plenty of manifolds but its not an easy piece to scrap just because of 1 misdrilled hole.

So after some thought i reached out to see if I could make a cost effective solution that would benefit everyone that doesn't have access to E85 and wants to run a proper methanol set up. There is no promises here right now this is more or less to bounce ideas and gauge interest.

This would be way cheaper than the current PI systems. If you break down the costs fuel injectors vs nozzles/jets, less parts , no common rail, no other controllers besides your meth controller. With the brains behind the actual computer design (not me) we may get lucky and have a expandable dual purpose meth or PI fuel just in case a E85 station opens near you or if you sell later on to a bigger market.

This would be compatible with BMS, Aquamist, AIS, DO, and CM systems.

What do you guys think? I'd like to keep pricing below the current TBI as they are some what comparable for their fuel types.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in 100%. This would be huge as there's a lot of us with no access to e85. It's a pretty big market left untapped.

I'd be interested as long as the nozzles are located on the top. If it's at the bottom like PI then count me out.

Please develop this. If this would be cost competitive to the TBI system then it would be more versatile and more efficient at delivering equal amount fuel to each cylinder making the TBI obsolete.

Just curious if you were to run e85 through it, what would control it? a hobbs switch?

The only downside i see to having meth/water port injection, is that the TMAP sensor won't see the cooling benefits unless you inject in the chargepipe.

You can tune around like e85 tunes. It only works though if you run it all the time in high boost areas

I don't see why you couldn't run 6x 175cc min nozzles and a solenoid off a hobbs switch and get better distribution. May look into it as an option

I'm very interested in a meth solution that would even out cylinder flow distribution.

A lot of modified cars on other platforms are running duel fuel systems using MegaSquirt. I only know of one car at this time that is trying to do this on the N54. Guy with a 535 has a stage 2 lpfp running pump. He installed a secondary tank with a LPFP to spray E85 via PI. Unfortunately he doesn't have a fuel pressure gauge on the secondary fuel line and has NO idea what it's doing.

If you're going to run a duel system you need some idea of what's going on with your fuel system. Flow sensor with an LED is simple to install and will keep you informed as to what's going on before it's too late.

If E85 ever goes away in my area, I think doing something like this would be my only option.

I'm interested I'm kinda tired of driving over an hour just to go get e85...I'm a knob when it comes to meth since I've never used it...would you use 50/50 or 100 percent meth? And how will it work with MHD?
