Style 397 F30 Wheels on E90

I searched and couldn't find a car like mine with these wheels, so I figured I would post some since I got them installed.

Running 225/40R18 Michelin A/S3 all around, with 20mm spacers in the rear.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks!

They are all 18x8. I want to say the offset is 37mm. Its the same as the 189 front wheels I had previously.

Nope. That's a 325i with standard suspension.

I do have a sport suspension sitting in the garage, just haven't put it on yet.

That looks surprisingly good for non-sport suspension. It'll definitely look even better with the sport suspension! You should add a 15mm spacer to the front as well.

I'm pretty excited to put it on.

The spacers, I'm not sure about. I want to front and rear to match as far as the rim distance from the fender, and since they are all 18x8, 20mm on the rear has them matching perfectly.

All I could do probably is do a 5mm/25mm setup

Looks awesome dude, planning to do the same thing. So you were able to put 225/40 tires on those 397's even though they call for 225/45?

Any problem with the difference in bolt size? I know the E90's use an M12 where the F30's use an M14.

The taller tires are meant to fill up the F30s bigger wheel well, the actual rim is the same size as my 189s were so yep 225/40s work

And, nope. The bolt holes only need to match your car, any rim will bolt on to either car.

Did the E90 bolts work fine with the F30 wheels?

No spacers required.

As for bolt holes, the conical taper of the F30 wheels will accept the M12 bolts fine.

Going the other way might present some issues as the M12 holes may not be generous enough to fit an M14 bolt

I found the same wheels and tires for sale but they were a 225/45/18 all around. Do you think they would fit well on my e90 328i with stock nonsport suspension? I don't plan to run spacers if possible, its fine to me if it's a bit in. I don't want them to rub on the suspension or fender well if possible. Because this is just a daily for now. I'm going to check out the wheels this week.
