DSC light, Ebrake light, door locks don't work
yesterday i went to wire tap an ignition fuse to get power from the car, only when the car is on. I used a fuse tap (not a full plug (which i should have) but just a piece of metal, supplied with the kit i was wiring, to tap a fuse). during this i unplugged the battery. I plugged it back in and there is a DSC light (that goes off in about 10 seconds) the brake light is on and stays on while driving, and beeps at me telling that the brake is on. also the key fob/interior door lock/unlock buttons do not work. now I've done wiring in my other vehicles in the past, never had an issue like this one. i know i COULD have fried the system i was tapping the fuse with, but anyone had this before? maybe a more simple fix? if i fried it, what would need replacing? it was fuse #79, any help would be appreciated. posted somewhere else, kept getting "lol"s and no help.
note: I've searched the forum, people have said this happens with new battery that needs coding. The battery has been in the car for as long as I've had it(almost 3 years), this issue didn't occur previously when i started it so I'm assuming its not the battery.
