161's how much are they worth?
I'm selling my 161's but with the run flats. How much are they worth with the tires? I'm looking to get the 162's. But not if they are 1k more than the 161's. Any ideas on how much my 161's are worth, and how much I'll be looking at getting the 162's with tires as well? Thanks, Tom |

ebay has the 161 wheels and tires listed with tires for $1395, but they are not selling. Tires new $800, wheels new $1300. Selling them used you should expect 1/2 of the new price.

I'm looking at selling them new. So hopefuly we will see.. I'm just wanting the 162's and I want to see what a fair price for them will be also. If too expensive, I'll go aftermarket.

161 tires
Hi,
I have a set of factory 162's that are still on my 2006 330xi. They are as received from the factory, in mint condition. I am interested in you 161's? What kind of tires are on them and what mileage? Mine have about 3100 miles and have Bridgestone potenza 225/40 R/18 and 255/35 R18 in the rear. Let me know if you are interested we can work something out. chet 203-206-9927 cc@necsonline.com |

I paid $900.00 on Ebay for a set of 161s with Pirelli Eufori's. Deal was the entire set with less than 100 miles on the tires. Consignment shop working to unload from a dealer. Absolutely no marks on the wheels. Think I got a great deal.

161's are a buyers market.
162's are a sellers market. Unfortuneately that's the way it works out. Most 325 owners want 162's because they weren't offered as a factory option like the 330. Since 325s make up the majority of the E90 sales, it would make sense that people are looking to unload their 161's for the 162's. |

Understand that it's supply and demand. But the tires alone are worth some cash.. So my take on it is not to sell the wheels below 1k. That's still a great deal. I too liked the 162's but not so much anymore.
