anyone on this boat? im assuming im on this boat cuz both the 800 and oc say im in transit to the prep center, and to my knowledge the only boat heading for west coast that left bremerhaven from 2-27 to now was the phoenix leader. it left 2-29 and reaches port hueneme 3-22.

my car completed the building process on 2-27. and i was somehow lucky enough to get on the boat 2 days after. anyone else on this?

Are you sure your car is not on the TORONTO? This vessel is also headed for Port Hueneme, and it left Bremerhaven on 3/1.

Since the TORONTO is a WWL ship, you can go to their website and type in your VIN to confirm. Unfortunately, the PHOENIX LEADER is a K-Line vessel, and they do not provide a website search capability.

Select Customer Centre, then Cargo Tracking, then Auto cargo, and then type in your VIN number in the Cargo ID box.

i typed in my vin and nothing came up, and i thought only nyk-line(k-line) ships go to westcoast. i didnt no wwl ships went to westscoast, but apprently they do.. lol anyone else on toronto or phoenix leader?

The initial comment in the Tracking Guide thread seems to be incorrect now; K-Line and WWL vessels deliver BMWs to both coasts. My car is on the FALSTAFF, a WWL vessel, and is due to arrive in Port Hueneme on March 9.

Yes I am on the Toronto the Phoenix leader is to dock a day earlier yet not sure. Check the WW site. The Toronto is to dock March 24 right now she is on her way heading to PC due to get their March 15.

Hey guys, I was wondering....I live in Oxnard, which borders Pt Hueneme, my grandma used to live there....and i know the port! what are the chances of actually watching my car arrive?
do they give arrival times?
if so how would I find it!

Phoenix Leader might be on the move towards Mira Flores. I will try to check it in awhile. Her "triangle" is covered up on the map by another label. I can't tell exactly what she is doing, but I think she's moving.

She is heading towards the Cent Bridge camera and then Mira Flores locks camera. It will take her about an hour to get to the bridge camera.

spn, thank you for the helpful information. You must have an AIS Live subscription. Do you have any updates on the Phoenix Leader's location?

I tried to track it through the Canal this weekend and downloaded some pcitures of a car transport ship that looked like the Phoenix Leader. I don't think I caught it based on the timing you have under the AIS. I think the ship I saw was the Favorite Ace.

She is with the ship Toronto and they went thru PC Sunday evening and are heading up to So Cal they are probably half way here.

If PL docks on Sunday, or even Monday, you could have your car by that next weekend. I have seen quite a number of guys in SF get them in about four days. (unless it was a euro delivery).

Once PL docks, give them about two days to unload the ship and for your car to go through VPC and then call BMW's contracted trucking company:

They have great customer service and they can tell you where the truck is that is carrying your car and they will give you an idea when your car will reach the dealership. You will have to give them your VIN number.

One thing, though, is if the truck that is carrying your car reaches the dealership on the weekend, some dealerships don't have techs available to inspect your car. You car has to go through a safety inspection by your dealership before they will release it. If your dealership doesn't have a tech available (some do, some don't, my dealership has a tech on-call), you will have to wait until Monday. So, the next time you talk to you CA, ask about that situation; if your car should arrive at the dealership on a Saturday. Just so you are emotionally prepared for some bad news.

Called NYK Lines today. The latest is that the Phoenix Leader is supposed to arrive at the Port of LA on March 24th. My sales rep told me March 22nd, so I'm hoping he is right but the shipping company probably has more accurate information. Not sure when it gets to Port Hueneme, but I would think one or two days on either side of March 24th.

She is coming in the same time as the Toronto March 23 as per Port of Oxnard she will be unloaded on the 24 so it is only days away. Not sure if anyone can track the ships they are probably somewhere in Mexico heading up.

She is probably near San Diego or just about to come to the general area since she will dock there Sunday.
