Strange vibration when changing gear
For the last coupe of days I've noticed a vibration through the clutch pedal & gear stick when changing gear. Only really feel it when the revs are above 3k, its stronger the higher the revs. The vibration dies off after the gear change.
Anyone have any ideas?

Diesel car?cannot see you're sig as as on phone. If so dual mass flywheel would be the common culprit. If you can vary the vibrations just by using clutch pedal would definitely say so.

Also you may notice a slight chatter noise in time with vibrations if it's the dmf.
It's not cheap pal,at dealer prices it's into the 4 figures including a clutch.Independants will be cheaper. If it's not that old try getting some dealer goodwill if you've got full Bmw history,as they are a known common failure. |
