Goodbye E93 335i

... I will miss the old girl dearly. She's gone to a good home

After a day or so crying like a little baby girl... I finally decided to look at getting an f32/f33 430d/435d

I'm hoping someone's made this switch before or knows enough about it to give me some points...

Will it drive as nice? What one do I go for? Is diesel still the better option for performance and economy combination?

What I do know so far;

It has to be the m-sport
First. Preference is the white exterior and red interior combo
Second option black on black
Must have pro nav with bmw apps and online services

Questions; is the 435d a tuned 430d with 4 wheel drive?

Can I get the same power out of the 430d with this so called Ppk or hartge remap and still retain the warranty?

Can I have the bmw apps integration and online services integration retrofitted? Is it a combox? How does it work?

If anyone can answer my questions it's you lot! Let me know

Or do I just go for the new c class coupe c250d (blasphemous suggestion, don't kill me lol)

Hi mate
I went from a e92 335i to a f32 430d.
Inside the car feels much more modern. My e92 was modified so quite difficult to compare the 2 in terms of handling.
But the 335i was considerably quicker.
I wouldn't remap a 430d. The official bhp figure for a 430d is 258bhp but most are running ~280ish and the MPPK takes it to 300bhp.
But with the MPPK you do get a upgraded intercooler and cotswold are doing the MPPK for a good price!
A 435d is a twin turbo whereas the 430d is a single turbo. A 435d is a lot quicker than the 430d.
Don't get a merc!

Thank you man. I had to step it down even more to looking at 420d M sport equivalent with all the goodies as I needed to save a bit of money due to some property stuff I want to do
It's going to be a huge difference but give it some time and I can always upgrade in the future. Main thing is its a hard top convertible and has all the gadgets I wanted. I'm sure I'll get bored quick but it beats buying a vw Gtd for the same price. Plus it will be mine at the end if the Hp goes through

Just need to wait till tomorrow to hear a decision on the finance. Also I chose white with black leather so settled there too. It's up for 26000 with 15k on the clock. What do you think? Have I been a bit too quick? Or is that a good price? It comes with a service plan too until Q3/4 of 2019 I believe

Are you definitely set on a convertible? i find the coupe quite large and 'bargy' and I'm guessing the vert is going to be a much heavier car.
What's the full spec of the car?

F3x has NBT on board, so Combox is built in. Very often they have dab and tcb as well for online services.
