Hi all,
Let's say that there are negative news articles and publications [including images] about two individuals which appear when one performs a Google search of either of the individual's names. I recognize that only publishers can remove articles from their publications, but is it possible to remove the articles from appearing when performing a Google search? Thanks! |

I'm sorry but I'm only allowed to answer one question per person per day. You'll have to wait 24 hours for your next answer.

Oh then beat the content owner with a wrench and after it's removed request it to be removed from Google cache.

Sadly, if it is factual... you're out of luck. That's part of the world we live in now.
You can kindly ask the publisher to remove it. Or you can build your own webpage to outrank the query keywords. Then you can put whatever you want on the page above it!

there are companies that make a killing off online reputation management, there was a good Reply All podcast episode about it https://gimletmedia.com/episode/18-silence-and-respect/
I guess google is allowing you to request removal now, but in the mean time, the only other way is to bombard the internet with higher ranking positive articles about those individuals and hopefully the other articles will get buried further down the rankings. |
