Exactly how does the SSTT work. Technical details please

Can someone please explain exactly how the SSTT will change my cars behaviour? And before reply with "Search recomendations" I've already tried searching and have come with nothing detailed. What exactly is this little black box doing to my car?

It's on the way. UPS is holding mine hostage. But it's OK. I must be patient. Here in Toronto, there is one snow storm after another. Worst winter in history.

So I looked into the link posted above and it actually contains very little substantive info. as to what SST does besides alter the "IAT reading" and increase boost. Can anyone pls explain further as to what SST actually technically does? Does it help compensate for increased boost by controlling fuel to maintain a proper a/f ratio?

Yes I do it's absolutely amazing. I fits so nicely in your hand and shifts are 50% shorter resulting in faster 0-60 times. As long as I can keep traction, I can launch the car pretty quickly.

I was just about to make a thread about how the SSTT actualy works untill I saw this thread...the link does provide a lot of info.. but I was thinking exactly what u just said.

it doesn't really explain HOW the unit works..what a/f ratio...does it run lean/rich

more detailed info would be great

the stock ECU can run to 11psi in which the SSTT runs the same, u would never run lean, the car wouldnt allow it, esp when the car itself can run at the same boost levels, it is ready to control AFR and all at those conditions.
