Help: 6AT won't enter Sport mode!

Got in the car last night, and my auto trans doesn't go into Sport when I move the gear selector into the M/S position. It does still shift with the paddles, but acts like it's in Drive (that is, drops back into D if you don't shift again with the paddles after a bit).

I'm running MHD with a tune from BuraQ right now, but I'm not sure where to start with troubleshooting. Resetting adaptations, maybe?

pop off the shifter trim panel. Check the wiring to make sure nothing has been frayed. there is a DIY on here about how to fix it. Has something to do with the factory wiring being just a tad short and it rubs against something

It's the wiring like others have mentioned. Happened to me a while ago.....What you want to do is loosen the bolt that holds the shifter housing, and get more slack from the harness....

Wires

I think "Tam503" nailed it. Pretty sure you have broken wires inside your shifter boot.
