Best local place for body work
I had a bad experience today at the Discount Tire near my place after an employee under estimated the "lowness" of my car, which resulted in him riding up the damn curb
![]() I'm now looking for a good auto body shop to repair the scratches on my front bumper. I have already called around and the bumper would have to be completely repainted, so I need to find a place that does great paint matching. Also the color is space grey if that matters. Thanks, ndem ps. money is not an issue since their insurance is paying for this. Last edited by ndem; 03-24-2016 at 10:18 PM.. |

If you want to stay in Renton, Renton Collision Center on N.4th (Cemetary Road) across from Renton Vo-Tech. Although the two Bellevue shops deal with high-end cars a LOT, Renton Collision did a bumper for me on my E46, and have done good jobs on that and my Toyota. |

I'll add Bel-Red Collision to the mix too, they are in Bellevue as well and in the time I was subletting there I saw countless exotics all repaired beautifully.

Thanks for the input guys. Looks like it's going to take awhile to get the funds from their insurance though.

Andrew @ collision specialist in Kent. I've tried just about every body shop up north (rnr, belred, huarrys) and Andrew is the only one I can rely on. Fast turnaround and an Honest guy.

Queen City Auto Rebuild is bar none, the best in the PNW. They do Ferrari of Seattle & did the front of my Porsche and the paint was better than factory by a mile. If someone else is paying, take it to them. They aren't cheap, but it's gunna be a spectacular result.

Jay at Carriage Rebuild on Bothell Way. He's done several of my vehicles over the last few years. They ONLY use genuine OEM parts and have a lower shop rate than anybody I've heard of. They don't cut corners or skimp out on anything. Jay is a friend of my family but even if he wasn't, I still wouldn't trust anybody else to fix up my bimmer/yukon/motorcycle/commuter car etc etc.
They're a smaller family owned shop so give them about a weeks heads up and they can usually squeeze you in. They're good at handling all of the insurance company BS too. |
