Just my luck.....

Summer wheels have been on all of 6 days & got a puncture, just my luck!!

Tyres have 7mm on them so ruined a perfectly good tyre

Car looks like this atm while I decide what to do, looks like the MV3's will be going back on this weekend, not a good look

Anyone got a 255 30 19 Bridgestone RFT?

Don't think you can repair RTF's

I can't see what has punctured the tyre

You can repair them mate. The sidewall needs to be inspected to ensure no damage from running with no pressure. As long as puncture is in centre 75% of tread it will take a vulcanised repair the same as any other tyre.

I can't find where the puncture is to be honest, I've never been keen on repaired tyres & I would rather just replace

Fair dos mate. You need to have confidence in the tyre so do what suits you best

To be honest I will have trashed the tyre running it flat, I did a reset & drove the car to see if the light went off & then drove it to a garage to check the pressure & it was completely flat

The garage were busy & I didn't want to wait so I drove the car home & took the wheel off

Thats the beauty of run-flats but unfortunately they do get trashed in the process

I didn't think I would struggle to find a tyre seeing as the RFT's get slated & everyone wants non-runflats

Got a couple of places to call on Tuesday to see if I can get one

Do I put the MV3's back on or let the mrs drive it for a few days with a odd wheel?

I managed to hit a brick in the road at speed last week and it destroyed my front nearside tyre.
Tyres were winter tyres and not run flats.

Arrived home two hours later on a recovery truck!

Ran the car for two days with one used summer which I had fitted locally - Eagle F1 - on the front, the others were Vredstein Winter Extreme.

I know the one front rim is no longer true.
The new set of Eagle F1's fitted were balanced so well by the tyre fitter, its almost unnoticeable.
