Talking Quick Mods Thread !

Just got my 08 bmw 328i and wondering if there are any quick mods to make it look nicer, enhance it, etc. Just basically customizing it without going broke lol. I already got a spoiler for it, made all interior lights leds, put an updated shifter knob that come in the new models. Just post your mods down below lets see what you've got !!

All my mods are cheap and fairly easy. I made DIY videos for each on my YouTube channel.

Check the link in my signature for some ideas.

Splitters are an easy choice. Tint, angel eye bulbs, wheels (bit more expensive). Wrap interior trim.

If you have a LCI then I got some black kidney grills for you for $40 and then also a sport steering wheel (3 spoke) with multi function button options (no trim and no buttons included) for $100.

is that your car in your avatar? I like that color alot!.

I agree with what everyone said above. you can do a lot with Vinyl wrap. I've used a vinyl overlay (red transparent vinyl) for the white on my reverse lights similar to the look of the LCI models. did the same with a dark tinted one for the front yellow reflectors on the headlights. wrapped interior trim a "brushed steel" color. I also wrapped the window trim in black, but you can paint or plastidip that also.

other good choices are painting the grilles black, emblems/roundels, better angel eye bulbs (make sure you get the right ones for your model/year).

Next price point up would be things like front lip or splitters, rear spoiler. That should be a good start.

Hey im wondering how you wraped your trim with vinyl. Thats what i wanted to do originally with a gloss black vinyl but it seems like it would be very difficult. I was considering plasti dip but even with glossifier it not the same shiny look.

Plastidip every possible thing you can. Mirrors, roof, wheels, brakes, intake.
Don't get an after market exhaust. Just drill holes in your muffler.
Check out Pep-Boy's for M3 stickers, those are pretty cheap.
Put film over all your headlights/tail lights for a super sleeked out look.
Make sure to change the roundel colors on the hood and trunk. Don't bother with a kit - a sharpie works
Put some motorsport stripes on your hood, side skirts and throughout the interior.
Get some super cheap headlight housings off of eBay that change colors to blue/red.
Green foglights help, too.
Did you get a vape kit yet along with tight denim pants?
Tow hook is a MUST. The OEM version won't work, get a brightly colored one.
Check out your local mall for customized eruo front plate. Cool ideas include "LOLVTEC" or "IEATV8S". Something subtle and natural usually works best.
You can delete your side markers easily with simple spray paint. Get rid of that nasty amber color.
I know this list sounds like a lot of time and money. I found switching to cheaper gas to help me fund my mods a viable option.

I used a gloss black vinyl and yes it is difficult to be honest. I figured worst case scenerio I peel it off and no harm done. It looks good from 5ft away but up close you can see some flaws. It would be much easier if i took it off and wrapped it but i wasn't sure how to do that with out damaging it.

I watched some videos on youtube and have wrapped some interiors before so felt confident enough to try it. I basically used a heat gun and a hard card (similar to credit card). i think this video is one of the main ones i referenced:

FYI, glossifier is dead...top coat is the new plasti dip thats super glossy and smooth. everything depends on execution.
