Sometimes :smells: in the cabin.

Generally I'm upset, because when I'm driving in the city around 3000 rpm at 3rd gear, and my temperature gauge is increased to 240F (I have oil cooler, and my average temperature is 220-230 F) in my cabin smell burning. Only for 5 second, then temperature decreases, and smells good.
I have no leaks. Engine is completly dry. I have all the time max oil level, max coolant level.
It start, when the sun was shinning.
Its hard to check, cause my car is hard to incrrease temperature more than 235F. And it happens when temperatere is higher.
Any ideas guys?

The smell is coming only, when i drive on half clutch.
I feel, that my clutch is rough. When i push it, I feel like something is working without oil.
Any ideas?

I was wondering this too... I hope you don't mean you're driving with your clutch partially depressed.

You know, when I'm driving back on R, I've got partially depressed clutch.
I was in dealership, and service says that there is no leaking - engine is completely dry.

Try some Old Spice?

Check your master cylinder for leaks, might cause the rough pedal feel. The burning smell is probably your clutch because it sounds like you're slipping it pretty good

My clutch is not slipping, when I'm driving.
Where I find master cylinder?

Sounds like you are not fully releasing it when in reverse or possibly other gears which will cause it to slip and smell like it's burning.

Ok, I think same as You, but the smell is not strong. Dunno why, but same smell is when i turn on air circulating in the cabin. Weird.
I found smell 'when temperature is 240F", It have to be heater, cause it smells like 'hot air'. When I turn off supply air on front window - smells like spring.
No smell like burning.
I guess, I'm hypersensitive my car. I have to start enjoy of driving, not to look for issues.
But I'm sensitive, cause my last car I had to sell for 40% of normal price. I shoul swap engine in my ex car, or sell her.

It's not A/C odor. I know that smell. But thanks for answer.
First smell is like 'hot air'. Yesterday I was driving hard, to heat engine oil more than 230 F, and when I turn off supply on the front window, was OK.
Second is (probably) clutch, when I'm taking R. Same smell is, when I turn on air cylculating.

I would second this. If after driving for a while you smell burning oil or burning fumes from the engine then you definitely have an oil leak somewhere and it is then getting passed through into the cabin. See if you get the same smell with the air/heat off.

230F is normal operating temp for oil on this platform.

As far as smell. Without understanding the scent of the smell it's hard to understand.

Does it smell like Oil? Coolant? Clutch burning?

With the words "half clutch" it makes me think the clutch is slipping and you are burning the clutch.

I'm not sure if I understand fully.

Perhaps bring it to a trusted mechanic and have them advise.
