Would 15" Wheels fit on a 2008 E90 335i?

My car was recently destroyed by a flood so the insurance company has totaled it out and will be towing it away soon.

It seemed like a shame to let my brand new tires go with it so I was thinking of buying a set of cheap 15" wheels/tires from Craigslist to put on before they take my car. The guy on Craigslist says that all 3-series have the same bolt-pattern and that they should fit. However, I'm worried about the brake rotor clearance. Anyone know if this would work?

15" wheel will not fit on the 335i. 17" is the smallest size we list that will clear your brakes.
