Really high IAT's?
My IAT's seem pretty high. Even sitting at idle its 138 degrees after normal driving home from work. Its 70 degrees outside. I just installed an ETS FMIC but temps are still high. Running MHD Stage 1+ map.
Attached log but new to this so not sure what parameters to pick. Also strange, the temperature gauge on my dash reads 99 degrees. My Service Engine light comes on too, car throws no codes on MHD. http://www.datazap.me/u/blau808/log-...0&data=4-16-23 edit: Flashed back to regular Stage 1 map and logged this drive, IAT's seem a lot lower. http://www.datazap.me/u/blau808/log-...a=4-6-16-21-23 Last edited by blau808; 04-07-2016 at 07:01 AM.. |

The only IAT measurement important is during wide open throttle 3rd and 4th gear pulls.
Intercoolers need air to move through them to function efficiently. IAT readings at idle or slow cruising are not that important and dont reflect the intercoolers performance since the air is stagnant or barely flowing through. If you had 3rd gear pulls from stock fmic VS ETS you'd see the difference in performance and IAT delta. |

The second log has a 3rd gear run, however its only a Stage 1 map. I think my timings look good but not sure.
Also why would my dash temperature gauge read 99 degrees when its 70 out? My CEL was on too, but no codes. http://www.datazap.me/u/blau808/log-...a=4-6-16-21-23 |
