Headlight condensation sealing
I recently purchased new headlights for both sides of my 2012 E92 and am noticing a little condensation inside the light. My car is not under warranty so I was wondering if anyone know a Chicagoland / NWI shop or DIY solution on how to fix this problem?

Purchase some silica gel/desiccant packs and place them inside the headlight secured with some tape so you can get them back out as needed.
I fight the same battle with my Lexus, but this keeps them dry inside for most of the year and is a very cost effective solution. -Zach |

As Ruiz suggested, I also used tape to secure the packets in the lights of my old vehicle. I never took them out either. I would replace them as needed with new packs. I typically put 2-3 smaller packs inside the light at a time.

I had this issue after I retrofitted mine. Drilled a small hole on both caps and stuck a breathable membrane on top of it to seal it, the membrane allows it to breath and since then I haven't had any issues. I experience all extremes for weather here in New England. I got the membrane sticker from Bav Gruppe

Bought my 2011 8 months ago and noticed the last time I washed the engine bay the passenger side fogged up. Good to know it's normal even on new lights. I'll try the silica packs next time it bothers me.
