Coding out DRL/Angel Eye check - new LED lamps minus resistor
I am planning to replace my OEM H8 angel eye bulbs (2011 328i e90 LCI Xenon) with the widely available LED aftermarket replacements. But I would like to DISCARD the resistor which is used for current draw and preventing the car from throwing DRL errors. My goal is to eliminate the resistor as a heat source and have better, more efficient lighting in place of the stock H8 bulbs.
So what parameters in the NRFM do I code out to prevent the hot and cold DRL checks? I see all kinds of hot/cold checks in the Code List sheet but nothing specific to the DRL/Angel eyes. |

Ok - I should have searched more before posting
I found the following to be coded out to eliminate any Angel eye errors: FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_L FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_R KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R Can some gurus please confirm and if I am going to create any other unforseen issues? Thanks! |
