Smallest drop?

What springs can I use on my stock shocks (until I buy new) that won't drop my car too low? Maybe something around 3/4"? I was thinking I could use sport springs, maybe a little shorter and stiffer rate?

The Eibach Pro Kit series springs will provide about one inch of drop and will work with your stock shocks. This is the least aggressive aftermarket spring in terms of lowering that I'm aware of.

op, not sure what you're driving on now, but if it's standard suspension, then bmw sport springs will drop you about a half inch.

you could drop the front an additional half inch by trimming the clevis on the front struts. there's a thread on this in this subforum

You dont NEED them, but the spring rate will not match so you'll want to upgrade them sooner than later. It probably wont feel that great too.

What do you mean by "the spring rate will not match?" The spring rate of the suggested Eibachs is practically equal to that of the stock ZSP spring set.

Dinan springs have a very modest drop as well, similar to the Eibach kit.

agree, on my car most of the drop is up front, compared to oe sport springs. cutting the strut clevis plus sport springs would look similar, but with less spring rate.

Yep most of the drop is up front, though I installed the Dinan camber plates at the same time and that negated a bit of the drop. I love the Dinan/Koni setup for daily driving and occasional track use.

I thought coupe didn't have sport option? I think I've seen and xi sedan in sport, pretty sure it was an xi at least. Been looking through pics and it seems that the rake is "off" meaning the front is still too high? I plan on getting coilovers in the future. Just wanted something for the spring/summer to complement the wheels and maybe firm up handling for now.
