Removing bumpers and trim is pretty hardcore. The paint ended up absolutely spectacular. I wish he didn't leave his camera in auto white balance (several panel shots looked cream white instead of blue!) but I can't nitpick his detailing job. That's some serious work!

I showed that thread to one of my friend's who's a VW fanatic. He was thoroughly impressed and commented how rare that bug really is. A 1951 split window bug with the antenna in the middle of the front windhield is very difficult to find. In this condition, the car must be worth a lot of $$$.

This model came with 25hp btw!
