M downrod and Upper CA install fail

Down rods and Upper LCA

The replacement of the factory stamped steel downrods and upper CAs with TRW replacements did not go well. First, I will say I didn't buy the kit from hpa or ecs and instead got the specific part TRW part numbers and purchased them individually. And on friday, when the individual (who does have quite a bit of experience - he has his own road race car and does all the work himself and had previously replaced a VC gasket and starter NP) was attempting to put them in, basically could not get them to align up and ended up crossthreading the threads in the hub. The bolts would not go in without binding.

He had tried to put one side on at a time and had didn't jack both wheels up and I initially thought they might be binding for that reason. So I suggested he jack up the other side and when he did, the bolts were unmovable. I ended up getting it somewhere on a lift and they managed to get the bolts out and fix the threads. They attempted to go back with the aluminum parts and they still really would not line up. All the parts were correct (he was working on the right side and the ones with the asterisk below were the ones he was installing).

Not to mention ever since the updated rods were tried, I have been getting a DSC disable alert about every 10 miles. There is nothing visibly wrong with the cable on that corner but I guess he crimped it in some way.

Any idea what might be going on here?

Just got a reply from Harold, other than pointing out I had the PNs reversed between guiderods and wishbones, he didnt point out anything that could be causing this.

edit Changed order of Pns
