I have a 2008 328xi, noticed a small issue on the right side (passenger) when jacking the car up to replace the water pump:


According to RealOEM it's the rear roll over strut, item 4 in pic: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=33_1230

Should this simply be tightened or should some suspension components be replaced?

I can feel a slight vibration ~60 mph. It was worse with poorer tires.

If you can get it tight - OK, but you might have to replace item 9 in this pic:

I looked at it again, and it looks similar to the other one; maybe it was my perspective, or maybe it's slightly bent. I'm going to leave it alone for now.
