SOLVED: retrofitted FLA, now FZD module missing in INPA?
I retrofitted FLA (high beam assist mirror) & custom wired spliced/tapped into can bus wiring.
Now inside INPA FLA is showing FZD is missing. Sunroof switch + interior lights not working. (checked sunroof + dome light fuses) what else can it be? Last edited by fatjoez; 04-30-2016 at 01:40 AM.. |

Try different combination, are you sure you wiring is done correctly? I had the same issue some time ago in my car.
Does FLA work ok?

FLA works when i checked it same night i wired up
What was your issue description / fix Do you have a wiring diagram for your setup? When i wired mine up FLA wasnt showing until i swapped the orange/green wire around. Did i short circuit the fzd by wiring wrong way first? |

Update: Put the green + orange wire back into the FZD connector and light/sunroof work.
I assume this means I crossed the wires wrong somewhere. I don't understand how/where though. When I wired this thing up it only worked in one particular arrangement. Any ideas? |

Resolved.
Wiring was wrong. I experimented switching wires around on my new harness until everything worked. I ended up with 3 wrong wiring scenarios - FZD, No FLA - FLA, No FZD - FZD, No FLA, No DSC, No PDC Finally the right one - FLA, FZD, PDC, DSC Just swap wires around is the solution until you get all the modules showing up in INPA - UIF Last edited by fatjoez; 04-30-2016 at 01:43 AM.. |

read/ talk here bro
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=20610136 Unfortunately I don't know the correct wiring because I took guesses based on the tutorial video, which didn't work. So I kept swapping the wires around until it worked lol....... |
