Install harness behind head unit
I tried to install a harness between the CIC unit and the factory connector. I was having difficulty sliding the CIC all the way back as the harness was in the way. It's very tight behind the CIC, not much space at all.
So my question is, how do I do this? How have you guys installed the technic harness? I tried putting most of it on the left side but couldn't as the quadlock is too big to fit. |

oh, it fits. you have to really shove it on the bottom on the right side if your car is RHD. it sits between the plastic radio cage and the dash pad.

Yeah, my car is RHD. So currently the harness comes from the left hand side. So your saying I can hide the connectors on the right side?
Also is it possible to loosen the cage? I removed the 2 torx either side but it didn't move. Last edited by E60525d; 05-01-2016 at 05:03 AM.. |
